Trip to Canada: MONTREAL.
We were lucky enough to spend our 3rd wedding anniversary in Montreal on Canada Day. We were also very lucky to meet up with Arne Sideco, a friend from college who lives in Montreal (he is Jamie Chioco's cousin!). The Montreal Jazz festival was happening right around the corner from our hotel. We missed Stevie Wonder because our plane was landing as he was going on stage. I originally posted these pictures on my Flickr page and my photo of the ship from Old Port was used by Schmap! Here is the link to my photo (too lazy to make a cool clickable link):

I have been catching a lot of slack for my lack of posting on this blog. Here is my attempt to catch up. Here are some photos from June 2008 when my second cousin Reagan came to stay with us for a week. She lives in Kansas City and she is a Longhorns fan (?). I made her and Dylan, my nephew, pose in front of an OU store because I think she might want to go to OU after I gave her a nice tour. She was impressed with the campus and she is an avid softball player. I think she will get a scholarship to play softball for OU!

Jack is 15 months old today.
My 40th birthday. I told Jeff I didn't want a cake and he got me one anyways! Jeff totally made my birthday. What a man.
Ira at my birthday party. It was nice to see all of the babies and toddlers hanging out. Congratulations to Suzy and Wampus for their baby to be born on Simon LeBon's birthday (October 27)
Sister Sarah surprised me on my birthday weekend. Visiting from London. No accent yet, but I can't wait until her sentences end in an upward manner just like Madonna.
Easter basket! Grandma Verna always comes through with the goods!
The Medieval Fair. Jack saw horses for the first time and we ran into baby Daltrey and Daddy Andy. Did I ever show you the documentary that Andy did on my roller derby team? Here's the link:

...and about 3 minutes, 50 seconds into it you will hear "You Race" by Jeff's band, Locust Avenue. Lovely piece of music!!!
